Discharge

Discharge is a white chemical powder that is used to decolorize cotton, silk, linen and viscose. The powder can be dissolved with water and sprayed or mixed with a Manutex paste for screen printing, stamping, painting and stenciling. Discharge removes dyes such as Drimarene-K, Tobasign and industrial dyes. Unlike bleach, Discharge removes color without compromising fiber integrity.

Once dry, iron the fabric on the highest setting that is suitable for the type of fabric. For extra color removal, iron with steam. Some dyes are more sensitive to color fading than others. After removing the color, wash the fabric with Metapex.
