Our mercerized cotton was woven plain, evenly with a mercerized finish. This reduces the shrinkage of the fabric and increases the gloss of the fabric with a gloss and silk-like appearance, allowing it to better absorb the dye and create deeper, more intense colors when dyeing. This mercerized cotton is ideal for dyeing with our reactive fabric paints Drimarene K and Tobasign.
