Heat Away

Heat-Away is a product that is often used in the embroidery world, but is certainly also interesting for a textile artist. It is perfect for digitized or freehand thread lace, cutwork and 3D thread appliqué.

Use it as a top coat on fabrics that can endure 260º-300º. After sewing your project, iron the surface with the iron at the linen temperature, without steam. Iron your work for 10 to 15 seconds and by exposure to this temperature, Heat-Away discolors and is ready to be removed, by brushing.

The fabric falls apart and the embroidery remains.
