Shrink A Bit I

Shrink-a-Bit I is a uniquely formulated fabric. This thick fabric can be used to create unique structures.

Application: A standard quilt sandwich consists of a batting, a backing of fabric and a top layer. Replace the sandwich batting with Shrink-a-Bit I and machine quilt the project. Wash the quilt "aggressively" in hot water. The sandwich of fabric deforms and special surface structures are created. Using Shrink A Bit I allows the quilt to shrink up to 25% or more after a vigorous wash. Shrinkability can be further increased if the backing fabric is omitted and the work is washed several times at high temperatures.
